Here are some of the ways in which you can participate in tracking hummingbirds with the new Hummingbird Migration Map.

 

  • Submit Your Sighting – You click on the species you spotted, enter your zip code, email address, and the date on which you saw the hummingbird. After hitting the submit button your sighting is automatically added to the Hummingbird Migration map in real time.
  • Tell Your Friends– Share the Perky-Pet® hummingbird migration map with family and friends by clicking on the Facebook and Twitter buttons below.

  • Upload a Photo – You can even upload a photo of the hummingbird you saw!
  • Stop Back Often - Add more sightings any time you want! You can also watch the progress of the hummingbird migration of various species over the migration season by viewing the colored flower icons associated with the specific species. You can view all species at one time or click on a single species and only view that one.
  • Zoom In or Out – Take advantage of the Google map functionality by zooming in on the map right to the street level, or zoom out to see more of the hummingbird migration map.
