Cheaply made By kwbird
The first one had chipped around the top and on one of the sections it had a crack. I got a replacement after two phone calls and waiting a few weeks. The replacement was also chipped around the top, exactly the same as the first (and by chipped I mean lots of pieces of plastic in a pile in the box). I was frustrated as it was now 3 weeks since my original order and I decided it was not really going to impact the seed or usage, it was more cosmetic, so I kept it. After a few weeks of usage I witnessed it falling to the ground because the top handle became unscrewed. I have it up again and am hoping it will last. The concept is good and the birds like it but it is really cheaply made and not suitable for shipping (evident by both feeders getting crumbled tops during shipping). For the price of this feeder, I probably should have sent back the second one as well.

excellent By
great feeder, good size; holds lots of seed. one squirrel managed to get on top of it and it slid right off and never tried again. my only minor criticism is that because of the design there is more seed than i would like left over when it is "empty" to birds. having said that i would definitely buy it again and recommend it to others.

Really easy to fill just as advertized. Took my birds a while to get used to it, but once they did, they eat as well from this one as from my other feeders.

This is an awesome feeder. It holds a lot of bird feed, so you do not have to refill so often. Also, you will quickly which seeds your birds prefer by which ones they choose to eat. It is practical, good looking and easy to refill.

Amazon Review, very satisfied By
I used this item before, but the rope broke, damaging the feeder and I had to replace the item. I found it very easy to use and holds enough feed so as not to have to refill it every couple of days. I am very satisfied with the feeder and very satisfied with the service from amazon.

I purchased this feeder in June of 2010. All Summer, Fall and Winter long, I filled it and refilled it. At the time, I was new to birding, and I found some feeders difficult to take apart and put back together. Not this one!! Very easy to take the top off and fill each one of the plastic feed ports with any kind of feed you want. Also, it holds alot of any type of feed you want. All my birds- nuthatches, finches, chickadees, woodpeckers, bluebirds, titmice, and others- love this feeder. One more thing..I am very hard on my feeders. They were out all (New England) winter long, and they have held up well.
