Review RateWonderfulWe really like these feeders. The Orioles, hummingbirds and even a red headed woodpecker drinks from the feeders. Yes, we have great enjoyment seeing them.
Review RateGreat feeder for Orioles and Humming birds too!I used one of these feeders that I found locally, for about 4 years before it finally broke. I was very pleased to find this same feeder again because the Bullocks Orioles love it and the local humming birds have learned to use it as well... so I bought 4 more and birdfeeders.com came through!!!
Review RateThe bee catcher.I'm sorry it leaks, bees love the leak and cluster on it. The patent bee guard is OK for the Hummers but seem to scare off the orioles. I have found that bees and wasps seem to be deterred by vinegar sprayed on the outside of the Feeder. I only half fill the feeders as i have to remove the dead bees at least twice a day. I'm at least happy you are trying to perfect the Oriole feeder...Response From Perky-Pet®Patty : Consumer Relations RepresentativeHello Eric,
We have two different versions of this Oriole Feeder - one with bee guards and this one without. We apologize for this experience and would like the opportunity to make it right. The feeder should not leak. If bees find a feeder, we recommend removing it for a number of days so that the bees can find another food source and move along. We do not recommend spraying anything on the feeder.
Please contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973) for additional assistance. This feeder is covered by a one year warranty.
Review RateNeeded item to replace one that was lost in storm. This was a perfect replacement, with perches that match the base. Filled with orange nectar, it's absolutely beautiful!
Review RateSimple and Popular With the BirdsThis is the third example of this feeder that I have purchased. They are by far the best oriole feeders I've tried. They are simple, easy to assemble, hold plenty of nectar, and the orioles and hummingbirds love them. They also hold up well. I've only ever had to replace one, and it lasted five years in the Florida sun. The design could be improved a bit, in some of the same ways that Perky Pet upgraded their 8oz pinch-waist hummingbird feeder (my favorite hummingbird feeder) a few years ago - wider mouth, flat topped bottle, etc. With those I'd give it five stars. But for what it is it works great as-is.
Review RateGreat productI gave the hummingbird feeders as a gift and they were a big hit. I was told these were the best feeders on the market. They were shipped on time with no issues.
Review RateGreat Product! This product is a great oriole feeder. It is very easy to assemble, fill with nectar, and clean. Best of all, both the hummingbirds and orioles love it!
