I bought two of these feeders two seasons ago. They are indeed much easier to clean and fill; however, they leak so badly I stopped using them due to ants and squirrels being attracted to the spilled sugar water. Good concept, poor design too dependent on a plastic to plastic interface.Response From Perky-Pet®Lauren : Consumer Relations Representative
When this feeder is filled with nectar, the pressure created from tightening the bottle into the base will keep the two halves of the base together and prevent leaks.

Review Ratethese are junk
buy 3 new h-bird feeders had 2 old h-bird feeders, used 50 gallons of homemade nectar 46 gallons in the 2 old ones...only 4 gallons in the 3 new ones these new ones are crap...don't waste your money ....there should be a "0" star ratingResponse From Perky-Pet®Lauren : Consumer Relations Representative
Thank you for sharing this experience. Birds are creatures of habit and may take a few days or weeks to become accustomed to a new feeder in their environment.
To help encourage hummingbirds to try a new feeder, we recommend temporarily removing established feeders until they more frequently use the new feeders in the area.

Review Ratehumming bird feedersyour people are excellent and of great help thank you for you professionalism
Review RateGlass brokeI've had this feeder for several months and like it. However, as I was filling it this morning with somewhat hot sugar water the glass broke at the base. Now it's good for nothing! I can't even find a replacement for the glass, though all other parts are available. Not happy.Response From Perky-Pet®Tara : Consumer Relations RepresentativeWe recommend letting the nectar cool completely before filling the feeder. Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, we apologize for this experience. Our feeders are backed by a one year warranty.

Review RateBest feeder so far, and no more yellow jacketsI replaced four of my six hummingbird feeders with the Perky-Pet 30-ounce feeders. I noticed that the yellow jackets could not get into these feeders, so I ordered two more. I am so happy! The hummingbirds are so happy! The yellow jackets -- not so much. They have left.
I have tried many feeders over the years, and these are the best so far. I love these feeders. The most important thing is that they are easy to clean. Glass reservoir is a must; plastic gets cloudy. They have a nice perch; the hummingbirds like this. The reservoir is a good size. I refill six 30-ounce feeders every day, so smaller would not work.
They are not quite perfect, so I could not give five stars.
The hooks are cheap and hard to deal with. I threw them away and used the nice plastic clip-on hooks from my old feeders.
I would prefer 8 ports and 8 perches. Even with six feeders, I have birds waiting for a place at the table in the evening. The feeders I replaced had ten ports.
Review RateOne of the best I have had!!!I received my Perky-Pet “Our Best” Glass Hummingbird Feeder and withing an hour of setting it out I had Hummingbirds. This feeder is solid and very well built, easy to fill with the all glass wide mouth opening jar and it all comes apart very easily for cleaning and the ant mote on top has that stopped the ants from getting to the nectar is a plus. I recommend this feeder to anyone, it was a solid purchase.
Review RateGreat ProductsI bought a humingbird bird feeder and it's fabulous! The order process was great. I received it in a very timely manner.
Review RateHummingbird Feeder with bee guardsI am so glad I bought this feeder. The bee guards really help in this area, as we live in the country and have a lot of bees here. I needed to replace the one I had because it broke after many ears of use. The new and improved one is fantastic.
Review RateBees and ants - bye, bye!I now have four of these feeders in my SoCal back yard and they're fantastic. Tons of birds!
Review RateGreat features! My old 30 oz. feeders were really old. They had a very small filler opening and the base was one piece, making it hard to clean. The new Perky Pet 30 oz. six station feeder is excellent, with the large diameter opening. It's really easy and quick to fill, and the two piece perch and feeder station is quick and easy to clean. With close to twenty birds we are feeding over 40 ounces of nectar a day. We love this new feeder!
