I agree that the perches seem to need to be a little longer, but will have to wait to see what the hummingbirds think.
This feeder was one of the few that had everything I wanted: small size (8 oz.); glass jar; bee/wasp guards; ant moat. I wanted a small feeder because of the frequency with which the feeders need to be cleaned in the very hot weather (sometimes daily). I did not want to waste feed by having to throw extra away at each cleaning.
I also bought Amazon's "Droll Yankees PLB Perfect Little Brush" by Droll Yankees for cleaning and the add-on "Perky-Pet 67 Metal Hook for Bird Feeders." I found the least expensive chain for hanging under my eave at Walmart.

I've had 2 of these feeders for over a year, and they are fantastic. Easy to take apart and clean, and the bee guards and perches are a huge plus. The glass doesn't leech chemicals into the nectar when it gets really hot outside, and it's still light enough to hang off my kitchen window with a double suction-cup feeder hook. Best feeder for the price, in my opinion.
