The clear, shatter-proof reservoir makes it easy to monitor nectar levels. Unscrew cap for top filling or cleaning. This bundle includes Perky-Pet™ instant nectar 5.3 oz. packet (231) which makes 32 oz. of nectar when mixed with water. Contains natural sweeteners with no boiling required. Remember to clean your hummingbird feeder at least twice a week, more often in very warm climates or seasons. The feeder may be cleaned with the Perky Pet® cleaning mop. Important Feeder Care & Instructions: Before you fill your top-fill feeder with nectar and each time you clean your feeder it is important to do the following in order to prevent the feeder from a possible leaking issue: - Remove Feeder Lid
 - Remove the O-ring (the rubber-type band located around the neck of the feeder opening - see photo). The O-ring will be white, clear or red in color.
- Lubricate the O-ring with common household vegetable oil, canola oil, etc. (this can be done by pouring a little oil on a paper towel and applying it to the O-ring or wetting your finger with vegetable oil and applying it to the O-ring).
- Place the O-ring back on the feeder and secure the cap.
