Impossible August 22, 2011

I am disabled to begin with. This trap was sent with a defective trigger arm. It took 4 hours to assemble and figure what was wrong. A friend bought it through Amazon. (not Amazons fault) I called and guess what none in stock. So send the whole big thing back. This was no help. Do not buy this trap.

Caught that Skunk July 19, 2011

This is a good trap. I have been using Havahart traps for over 40 years. I modified this trap so I could close it remotely with a string. Waiting for the skunk, I didn't want to catch any of the stay cats that I feed daily. Then I took it down to the Yellowstone river and let that skunk go. Use a tarp or blanket to hide yourself when approaching the trap with the animal in it, then cover the trap with the tarp. The skunk never saw me. This trap is pretty big, allowing room for larger animals. Saving cats and skunks in Montana.
