Granted this is not a squirrel proof bird feeder but I love it! I enjoy watching the squirrels hang upside down feeding on the seed. The birds don't seem to mind feeding on the seed on the ground that the squirrels drop...especially the dove. I like this feeder so much that I'm ordering me a back up and my boyfriend wants one too. Happy birding.

Great feeder, easy to fill, birds seem to have not trouble eating sunflower seeds from it, and the squirrels cannot get to it. If a squirrel hangs from it, only a small amount of seed is lost. Exactly what we needed. Excellent product.
This squirrel-proof bird feeder is one the few I've tried which actually works really well. Unfortunately, last fall, the bears were able to 'shake' the feeder pole and it fell to the ground - rendering it somewhat less functionable.
I have a similar one but it don't have as many ports. I have had squirrels try to get in it and so far they haven't, this one was just content to hang by his feet and eat some seeds out of the small tray at the bottom, but that was all he could get. I love it.

Counting the two new Top-Flight birdfeeders I just purchased, I have had 4 of these feeders. Got rid of the two I had (after 3 years) because I could no longer get them really clean. I enjoy these, they are easy to fill and the birds like them. The only downfall to these feeders is they do collect some water at bottom. A baffle over the top cures this.
I have owned this feeeder for many years and I LOVE IT! Strong enough to keep the squirrels out and easy enough for the littler birds to get in! Very, very durable!

Not sure where others use this feeder, but for a 2nd floor deck, this and the triple sized one are wonderful. Also, we live in a fully wooded area highly populated by squirrels and these drive them NUTS. They cannot figure out how to get at these. And believe me, the branches are close enough for them to jump onto the decks. We've had no issues filling the feeder or getting them to lock in place either. These are great and totally worth the investment.
