I have had this feeder about 3-4 years. I was brand new to birding at the time and didn't know if it would work. Well it did! I got not only sparrows of course, but chickadees, wood doves (that can not actually get to the seeds), cardinals (who alerted the birds in the neighborhood to the feast), some type of all red bird which is not a cardinal. I have to replace it this year because with all the high mph winds we've had over the winter, it blew it off its perch and broke off some of the feeder openings. Well worth the money.
