Amazon Review, Wonderful product.I purchased this to replace our old NONO that after 8 years the coons had finally beat to death. This one holds plenty of black oil seed and the extended roof is great. I also like the different levels that allow Nuthatches to cling to upside down, yet the perching birds have rings to sit on as well. The tray at the bottom allows our squirrels to feed w/o knocking the feeder down. Great item folks.

Amazon Review, Best Feeder Ever! The feeder is easily accessible to different species. The finches can hang upside down, the cardinals can perch and the titmice and chickadees have no trouble feeding. Most of the squirrels can not feed but we have one that wraps himself around the bottom somehow precariously. We don't fight the squirrels, we are sore losers. We have 2 other sunflower feeders, 2 millet, this is the best. Easy to fill little maintenance Highly recommend!

Amazon Review, Yes/Yes Bird Feeder.Wow, what a cool bird feeder! The sleek design looks great hanging from the tree. Refilling it is a breeze. The first time I filled the feeder, I filled it right to the top....never again. When the squirrels found it, it was a feeding frenzy with two squirrels hanging on it at once! It took them about a day to wipe out five pounds of oiled sunflower seed :-( Since then I have been rationing the seed and it has encouraged a huge variety of backyard birds to stop for a bite. The quality of the feeder is great, cleaning should be easy and the Amazon price/delivery was exceptional.

Fantastic But Needs to be Under Cover in Rain - Amazon ReviewThis feeder takes the place of 3 tube feeders that constantly need to be filled in the spring when the birds are raising young. It's true, as the one negative reviewer noted, that seed can go to waste in a hard or lengthy rain as the seed will mold. (In bad weather, I hang it under the roof of an open porch with a bucket underneath to catch hulls; an umbrella might work also. I would pay extra for a cover if it had been offered.) But the need for a big feeder is greatest in the spring when in my locale (N.Cal) there isn't enough rain to mold the seed. During the winter rainy season when less seed is being eaten, a couple of tube feeders might be a better option if there's no place to hang it under cover. The feeder is easy to fill when hanging - just open the top. As the one negative reviewer noted, it is awkward to take it down, hold it up with one hand and fill with the other--it's designed to collapse if set down. I use a second hanger that I link to the one that hangs the feeder on a tree branch. That makes the feeder low enough to simply pour the feed in the top. Then I hang it on the original hanger so it's high enough up for the birds. Basically I love it - very sturdy, I don't worry if I'm gone for a couple of days that the seed will run out, birds seem to like it, no squirrel issue.

Don't listen to the negative reviews - Amazon ReviewI've had many, many feeders of all types over the years, but this is one of the best I've owned. It is sturdy, good-looking and well made, with no extraneous parts to fall off or wear away. Also, no matter what one reviewer said, it does keep squirrels off, at least in my neck of the woods, and more importantly, pigeons, the peskiest pests I deal with, cannot get on this feeder, so I say hallelulah to that! But does it get ruined in the rain, as one writer said? That's not been my experience. Within days of my hanging it, we had an all-day drenching rain, and the seed was completely dry inside when I checked it in the evening, and the feeder is fairly exposed where I have it. Well, OK, but it's SO hard to fill, isn't it? Please, people. You just move one little hook to open the lid, then hold it up with one hand and fill with the other. So very easy my 5-year-old nephew has filled it for me by himself several times. Bottom line, this is one sweet feeder that attracts the perfect mix of birds--colorful cardinals and jays love it, and the little birds have room at the top when the bigger birds are on it. I'm as happy with this feeder as any I've ever owned.

Great bird feeder! - Amazon ReviewThis feeder is great for all different kinds of birds! Just the second day I put this feeder up, many species of birds came to it, including chickadees, nuthatches, cardinals, blue jays, house finches, and goldfinches.the only problem about this feeder is that the tray at the bottom of the feeder dosen't fully drain out all of the water as soon as it rains on the feeder, so it makes the seeds damp.Overall this feeder will make a great addition to any backyard!!
