Top Fill Hummingbird Feeders

Simply remove the cap and pour! The wide mouth opening prevents nectar spill. Each feeder is adorned with four unique soft petal flower feeding ports.
This style of feeder has only two parts - a top and bottom. These two parts separate so that you can fill your feeder easily. Just remove the top, pour in your nectar and put the top back into place – and you're ready to feed hummingbirds!
Our plunger style top fill feeders have a small plunger inside the container that creates a seal when the lid is tightened. When the lid is sealed correctly, the nectar begins to flow to the feeding ports and minimizes leakage from your feeder.
Before you fill your top fill feeder with nectar and each time you clean your feeder it is important to do the following in order to prevent the feeder from having a possible leaking issue:
Remove Feeder Lid
Remove the O-ring (the rubber-type band located around the neck of the feeder opening - see photo). The O-ring will be white, clear or red in color.
Lubricate the O-ring with common household vegetable oil, canola oil, etc. (this can be done by pouring a little oil on a paper towel and applying it to the O-ring or wetting your finger with vegetable oil and applying it to the O-ring).
Place the O-ring back on the feeder and secure the cap.
