Water is an essential element for attracting birds. By adding water to your offering along with a food source, you’ll attract a larger variety of birds including birds that don’t eat seed such as the popular bluebird, swallow and warbler.
Birds will seek out a water source in a variety of ways: rivers, streams, ponds, puddles and even raindrops. Provide them fresh, clean water in your backyard and they may never have to go elsewhere again!
Keep water fresh by changing the water every few days. Clean waterer every two weeks with a mild soap and water solution. Be sure to rinse thoroughly.

RESPONSE FROM PERKY-PET

Thank you for taking the time to submit your online review of the Perky-Pet® Water Cooler Bird Waterer (model 780). We are sorry to hear that the birds have not yet found the new waterer.
Birds are creatures of habit and can take some time to adjust to a new feeder or water source. Also, it may take longer for them to find it if they have multiple other water sources. We recommend, just as you have done, hanging the waterer close to other feeders.
We hope this information has been helpful. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Consumer Relations Team at 1-855-PERKYPET (1-855-737-5973).
