Best hummingbird feeder October 10, 2012

I have been feeding hummingbirds for at least ten years and have used other feeders. This one is the longest lasting and easiest by far to use. The hummers seem to like it best also!

Great Feeder! August 12, 2012

We have 6 hanging outside all summer. The birds like this feeder better than other brands we have tried. We found that removing the screw that holds the perch on improves the feeder survival rate during a bear encounter; the perch pops off without breaking the perch or the base.
The only improvement I would make would be to have the base easier to clean like the oasis model feeder.

Thank you for your feedback of the Perky-Pet® Popular Pinch-Waist Feeder (model 210P). We are glad to hear that the hummingbirds have been enjoying this feeder so much, and appreciate your tips to avoid damage during a bear attack!

To help clean the feeder, fill the bottle with a small amount of water and add a small handful of uncooked rice to the water. Place the base onto the bottle and shake vigorously. The rice will reach and clean those hard to reach nooks and corners of your feeder bottle and base.
