OK, I'm so frustrated!!!! I have tried everything including reading the instructions and calling the 800 #. I still can't get the feeders to quit leaking when I put them together. HELP!!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Perky-Pet® - Consumer Relations Response: Thank you for submitting an online review. We are sorry to hear you had difficulty with the Perky-Pet® Double Decker Top Fill Hummingbird Feeder (model 222) leaking. When using this style feeder it is important to create a vacuum tight seal inside the feeder bottle. To achieve this seal you want to lubricate the O-ring found on the underside of the lid using vegetable oil. Also you want to make sure that you secure the lid onto the feeder tightly, with the interior plunger aligned. You may want to test this a few times using tap water before filling your feeder with nectar. We hope you have found this information to be helpful. For more details regarding the assembly of your feeder please feel free to visit: http://www.birdfeeders.com/resource/uploads/222-perky-pet-double-decker-top-fill-hummingbird-feeder-instructions.pdf. I gave this to my dad as a gift. Immediately upon filling it up, all of the liquid started pouring out of each flower. We visited the website and we followed the directions noted, oiling the o-ring with vegetable oil, carefully ensuring everything was secured tightly, but to no avail. It constantly leaks to the point of not being functional. Very disappointed. ________________________________________________ Perky-Pet® - Consumer Relations Representative
